Anyone ever play Shadowrun? I’m just asking because it seems to be a RPG that is not played in the NWF area. I my self have never played the game but I have looked over the players hand book (E4) to find it to be an interesting setting for some possible good role playing. Is there something that I don’t know about that keeps the game more or less in the shadows?

Shadowrun is different from the typical D&D setting. Most people that I have seen play SR normally play white wolf or super hero types. SR also is a pain in rear to GM.

I almost got talked into playing it by my sister, who was an avid player. Other than that the closest I've ever gotten to playing it was via a computer game, which isn't really playing it at all.
I did play Cyberpunk 2020, but that's a far cry different as it has no magic, or demi-humans, etc.
